Why was my account terminated?
We strictly enforce our Terms Of Service and make every effort possible to make sure all users have a fair opportunity to enjoy a great experience at MyHuntProfile.com. Your account may have been terminated due to a breach in the Terms Of Service (aka TOS). Other reasons your account could be terminated would be spamming (unwanted advertising) to other members or adding links in your profile description. If you felt that your account was terminated for no probable reason, we ask that you contact the site administrator Jason or Contact Us via e-mail. We are only human and are prone to mistake. Depending on the nature of the issue we may be able to restore your account.
Lastly, we have an automated behind the scenes invisible screening process of each member. For security reasons this process is not revealed. In the event your account has been terminated immediately upon registration this is most likely the cause. Certain triggers during the sign up process can cause this. This system is to protect and offer the best quality environment possible for MyHuntProfile.com members. In a very rare but possible scenario our server could crash causing a data loss of the most recent members who have joined. Steps are taken to prevent such an issue as this and be able to recover from it if it should happen. None the less it is a possible event. Always Contact Us to find solutions to your membership.
A member keeps bothering me, what can I do?
How do Subscriptions work?
When you subscribe to another user, that user's profile will be listed in your subscriptions page. This also applies to subscribing to other users activities such as blogs etc. You will receive additional notifications when this users uploads content.
How can I edit my profile?
You can edit your entire profile at any time by first visiting your own profile. This can be done by clicking on your avatar anywhere on the site or clicking the "Profile" button near the top right of the website next to our logo. Once at your profile you can click the link that says "Edit Profile" on the left column just below where your default profile image would be.
How can I send a private message to a user?
There are 2 ways you can send a private message to a user 1) Click on the Mail icon in member menu that floats at the bottom of every page and select Compose. In the Recipient field, type in the username of the user you want to send a message to. If the username exists, it will populate as you're typing in the Username. This will help to ensure you type in the correct username. 2) From the users profile you can click the button that says "Message".
Can I view messages I have sent?
Click on the Mail icon in member menu and click Outbox. This will take you to your Outbox which contains messages you have sent.
I accidentally deleted the wrong message, can I retrieve it?
Click on the Mail icon in the member menu floating at the bottom of every page when logged in then click on Trash. This will display all Messages you have deleted. Choose what you want to retrieve and click Restore The message(s) selected will now be back in your Inbox.
Are my messages on here permanently unless I delete them?
To save space on our server and to ensure the site is not running what it doesn't need to run, old messages older than 365 days old are deleted automatically. Every private message has a 1 year shelf life. If you would like to keep a message for a longer duration please copy the information to your personal computer. Re-sending the information to yourself will restart the clock for the new message.
Why can't I log in to my account?
Common issues are you may have misspelled your password or had your CAPS LOCK on while typing your password. Try typing your password with CAPS LOCK off.
