Harsh winters always bring in a bobcat in February. I've been dealing with a cat for the past week. I'm a couple of ducks down and now intentionally feeding the cat. Never a dull moment when you live in the woods.

Slowbow: That's a very interesting way of dealing with the situation, feeding it. Sorry you lost the ducks, but I admire your tolerance. bkbowhunter, your right, I do think your crazy. I worked as a cook at a chain restaurant for a while. One of the cooks came in running late because of a hunt. He had been sprayed while out, and man, it was not pleasant that evening. The waitresses even said people were being seated and leaving because of the smell, and we were in a closed kitchen with partitions between us and dinning.

RobinsOutdoors: I took skunk essence in the Jeep to a bear bait once. It was closed up but the Jeep stunk for days. After that I put it on the roof rack. I'm tolerant to a point. If it tries to get into the hen house again and I see it, it's over. I can't hunt it, the season is closed, so hopefully this keeps it off my birds.

Jason: Just wanted to chime in and agree that Brian is crazy for liking the smell of skunk. I can handle it in the distance but a close up fresh spraying there is no way. That stinky mess is all yours Brian. lol.

Have a question for people with Shot guns, I'm getting into turkey hunting and want a good shotgun, but also want to hunt deer and small game with it also, what y'all think?? Top price ill pay is $550-600 thanks in advance
There are 3 comments
Jason: I am not a shotgun pro but that price range puts you right on the border of a nice browning 12ga pump. Just my opinion.
added 02/25/2015 10:10:18:AM
HamBrosOutdoors: can get a Remington 870 12g for $250 or so, and would be good for deer and turkey, you would have to get a slug barrel for it but that would still put you well under $550
added 02/26/2015 13:11:21:PM
TattooedHunter: As Jason, Im not a shotgun pro either. But I use the Mossburg 535. I exchange barrels on it. Have one for turkey hunting and I have a slug barrel for deer hunting. I beleive it is in your price range. Good luck

Thanks to modern technology, the weather can be predicted almost hourly now. I was playing the odds when I climbed into my deer stand on October 25th, 2014. The wind was slated to be in my face (south, south west) until 8am, and then would switch to a nort
